Aurora

Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and often stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry shared a tweet that Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is when she discovered a grand piano that was in the attic. She was fascinated by the possibilities it offered. The parents of her May-Britt family as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to study music, not for a profession or a pastime, but to grow. As a result, she began writing the music she composed herself. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as being her influences. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music publicly, not in order to achieve fame, but rather in order to show others how important they are and what they can do for the world. As a young girl, she began to play the piano, and when she was nine was writing music. It was unknown by her family until she turned fourteen. It was never a dream to be Aurora. She just loves to write songs. According to her, she believes music can make anyone feel better.
